Your own webshop
Nowadays you can set up your own webshop with a small budget. There are many options for integrating a shop window (front store) into your website. For the more complex webshop you pay a monthly contribution. In exchange you get a system that you can manage completely yourself, possibly linked to your accounting system. Mind you, it is quite time consuming to set this up, but once everything is configured you are free to adjust prices, discounts, products, ... as you see fit.
For a simple webshop with articles that are offered for a longer period of time at a fixed price (think of books or CDs), there are solutions for a one-off cost.
Payments are perfectly safe and can be made via Credit Card, PayPal and ApplePay/GooglePay that are linked to your account. All I need is the API code that you receive by linking your bank account on the website of the international Stripe payment system.
